Plains bison
American bison is a keystone species that lives in North America. It use to roam across the country from Great Bear Lake, Canada to the north to Durango and Nuevo León, now it is only found in small areas doted across North America. It is more famous to live in the Prairies of Central Canada and United States. They live in large herds constantly moving across the plains. It eats mostly grass and sedges. A adult bison have very few predators but wolves and Grizzly bears have been known to take down injured, sick, elderly and calves.  The greatest defence of a Bison is its size and its herd.  When a Bison stamped it is like the earth is shaking underneath.  Other defence is that it will charge with its horns at its foe.
