Southern tamandua
The Southern Tamandua is a small arboreal member of the Anteater family. It mainly eats ants, and termites that live in trees. Like all Anteaters it has a long noise to smell and a long tongue to slurp up the insects. Its best feature is its prehensile tail which allows it to balance its self in trees and keep it safe from falling from great heights. As well as a pair of sharp claws that can rip and dig into any arboreal ant or termite tree mound.
